Commencing at Emu Plains or the Knapsack Bridge through to
Lithgow, back to Richmond/Windsor and return to Emu Plains. |

A GREAT DEAL MORE WORK MUST BE DONE BEFORE THIS PROJECT IS
FURTHERED.
"The Blue Mountains Track"
The CONCEPT is for this Track to pass through places of
high significance some of which are listed on the National Estate,
National Trust and Blue Mountains Environmental Plan.
IN DETAIL
IT IS THE INTENTION of the Blue Mountains Track Foundation to
create a multipurpose track across the Mountains. It will create a
"community commuter corridor" from one town to another.
The Track will be for the use of walkers, cyclists, disabled.
The purpose of the Track is to recognize and promote the
historical, cultural, aboriginal and environmental significance of
the area, and to make this easily accessible and understood by all
Australians and visitors. |
EMU PLAINS to LITHGOW to RICHMOND/
WINDSOR return to EMU PLAINS
Cost is substantial and funding will be sought from the private
sector. |
