Perhaps the most exciting enhancement to Netscape's® JavaScript arsenal (with 3.x series) is the ability to create animation on your pages without using an animated .gif file or using a plug-in.

The example below includes mouseOver buttons as the mechanism to permit the visitor to control image changes. Simply positioning the cursor over the button "depresses" it and activates the Start, Stop, Faster or Slower, or allows the user to Quit (the Quit below will trigger an alert). Form buttons are also provided, but YOU NEED TO DELETE ONE OF THE TWO SETS OF BUTTONS!!!!

Although we only loaded a simple animation with just three images to demonstrate the concept to you, multi-frame animations can be used, of course.
