Laziness is the mother of invention. The database machine was born out of a desire to save myself work; although building it required a lot of work!

David's ASP Database Machine produces copy-and-paste code for incorporation into ASP projects. Code produced includes...

• HTML/ASP data-entry form for inserting a new record
• HTML/ASP data-entry form for updating a record
• ASP code to accept data from a form
• ASP/SQL code to insert a new record
• ASP/SQL code to update a record

To use David's Database Machine, you simply fill in an online form, click the 'Submit' button, and the code listed above appears on the next page. You then copy-and-paste into your own ASP pages, and make any necessary modifications and additions.

Code produced is for the Microsoft Jet SQL engine, for Microsoft Access databases. Some modifications may be required for SQL Server.
