News: Steam returns to the mountains!
8 November open day on sale now.
Been missing the sounds and sights of the huffing and puffing of your favourite ride?
After an unprecedented spell without heritage action, Valley Heights Rail Museum announces that the popular ‘Valley Heights Mixed’ train returns to the tracks on Sunday 11 October.
With 120 year old steam locomotive 'Stevo' in the lead, you will again be transported back to a bygone era, in the padded comfort of an 1890 timber carriage.
The Museum's volunteers have been working behind the scenes to make sure all CovidSafe boxes are ticked and guidelines and protocols are now in place.
All that's needed now is to once again welcome boys and girls, mums and dads, grandmas and grandpas, to enjoy the experience of this special place.
Bookings are essential, with visitor numbers strictly limited to 60 in each session at 10 am and 1.30 pm. Social distancing will be practised and of course, those with Covid-19 symptoms are not admitted.
