Visit the Valley Heights Rail Museum under COVIDSafe conditions
Under our COVIDSafe plan, numbers are limited, and online bookings are essential.
With 120 year old steam locomotive 'Stevo' in the lead* or our 1960s vintage diesel X206, you will again be transported back to a bygone era, in the padded comfort of an 1890 timber carriage. View the model rail and other exhibits of the steam era in the Blue Mountains.
* Steam train operation is subject to logistical factors (fire ban or high fire risk, crew or locomotive availability, track failure or other reasons), therefore diesel operated rides with a heritage carriage may run in place.
Bookings are essential, with visitor numbers strictly limited to 60 in each session at 10:00 and 13:30.
Next open days:
- Sunday 28 February 2021
NOTE: Sunday 24 January open day cancelled due to extreme weather forecast
