Centenary of Federation – Let’s Make History!

How can you be an official part of the Centenary of Federation?

By organising a new activity or theming an existing one with a Centenary of Federation "flavour" then applying for endorsement. Themes may explore the past, present or future.

The New South Wales Centenary of Federation Committee’s endorsement process provides the opportunity for everyone to get involved. This includes individuals, organisations, local governments, local Centenary of Federation committees and event organisers.

Centenary of Federation endorsement means that your event or project will be listed on the official program at www.centenary2001.com.au (events calendar) and have use of a Centenary of Federation logo. Endorsed activities will be recorded in history as participating in the Centenary of Federation.

The Centenary of Federation commemorates the coming together of the six British colonies to form a federated nation. It is a time to reflect on our past, present and look towards our future. Most importantly it belongs to all of us. It is about all Australians.

Many local activities have already been endorsed. Events still to happen this year are:
